BUY LOW
Marquez Valdes-Scantling — Packers, WR, 43.5% ownership
LONG before his primetime appearance on Sunday night, Marquez Valdes-Scantling had shown enough to warrant a spot on your roster. Recording his second game with 100+ receiving yards in three tries only confirmed those thoughts with Valdes-Scantling one of the hottest waiver wire adds this week. With Geronimo Allison being sent to IR and Randall Cobb failing to stand out MVS has a clear-cut place in Green Bay’s passing attack.
Evan Engram — Giants, TE, 64.2% ownership
ELI Manning struggling under center doesn’t help Evan Engram’s chances of being a reliable fantasy player. However, since returning from injury, Engram has seen a healthy amount of targets head his way, even if his production hasn’t quite caught up yet. With a few tight end friendly defenses on the horizon, Engram is definitely worth taking a chance on if you’re failing to find consistency at the weakened TE spot.

Kerryon Johnson — Lions, RB, 89.1% ownership
FULL disclosure, Kerryon Johnson’s upcoming schedule is full of some tough foes that could keep his scoring down. That being said, with Golden Tate being shipped off to the Eagles and Kenny Golladay so far failing to step up in the passing game, there is a scenario where Johnson closes out the year as one of the best backs in fantasy. You might have to offer the farm to get him away from his owner, but after back-to-back quiet games now is the perfect time to make a (reasonable) deal for him.
Aaron Jones — Packers, RB, 79.8% ownership
MIKE McCarthy seems to have finally come to his sense by making Aaron Jones the lead back for the Packers. He didn’t light the world on fire against New England with a costly fumble affecting his score somewhat. Still, Jones will dominate most of the carries in the backfield and plays some role in the passing game. If you need to add some depth to your RB guys, Jones is your guy.
Carson Wentz — Eagles, QB, 92.8% ownership
IF you are going to make a play for Carson Wentz then stop reading this and do it right now. His value is only set to spike in the second half of the Eagles’ season and we could see lofty stats as soon as this weekend. Wentz has thrown multiple TD’s in five straight games and with Philly playing catch up after a slow start I expect to see Wentz air it out and go for broke as they try to defend their crown.

SELL HIGH
Adrian Peterson — Redskins, RB, 95.8% ownership
ADRIAN Peterson has laughed in the face of ‘Father Time’ this year, putting forth one of the best seasons we have seen from a running back over the age of 30. Unfortunately, it might be all about to come crumbling down, with Washington’s offensive line continually being struck by injury. Missing several starters from their O-line makes life tough for All-Day Peterson, who will also likely take a hit in value when Chris Thompson returns from injury.
Courtland Sutton — Broncos, WR, 59.8% ownership
HEAR me out. One of the most popular waiver wire adds last week was Broncos wideout, Courtland Sutton. We all expected an uptick in production from Sutton following the trade of fellow wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, however, no such spike in production came against Houston. In fact, his teammate ‘s Jeff Heuerman (10 targets) and Emmanuel Sanders (9) saw the majority of the targets last week through some uncertainty over Sutton’s fantasy value moving forward.
Jordan Howard — Bears, RB, 96.2% ownership
AS a Jordan Howard owner I know first hand how frustrating he has been this season. That hasn’t stopped him from posting double-digit scores for three straight weeks, boosting his value slightly. Finding the end zone four times in that period has helped his scores, although Howard has rushed for fewer than 50 yards twice in that same time span. If you can, cut your losses and upgrade.

Greg Olsen — Panthers, TE, 93.7% ownership
LET me preface this by saying you shouldn’t trade Greg Olsen unless you have another plan, or you’re trading for another tight end. With the talent pool shallow this season at TE, Olsen has been stellar since returning from injury in Week 6 and is pacing the way as one of the best tight ends in recent times. However, his outburst has been bolstered by Carolina matching up against suspect secondaries and given his injury history/touchdown dependency you might be able to dangle him in a trade and land a big fish in return.
Latavius Murray — Vikings, RB, 84.8% ownership
NOW that Dalvin Cook is back on the field (making him a sneaky buy-low candidate too), Latavius Murray is in an awkward fantasy position. He has been a great life support for owners over the last month as Minnesota’s RB1 and if you are a Cook owner, then Murray is a great handcuff play. If you don’t own both Vikings backs though, then it might be time to move Murray who seems destined to see his numbers slide in the second half of the season.
Peace ✌
